The problem I find with this quote is that when he says nothing it is generally thought as a physical thing and in that case it is true you can't lose anymore, but what isn't acknowledged by most readers is that even if you can't be worse off on the surface, there are always deeper levels that have no defined end points to be worried about (for example, spiritual or mental)
