Another One from Albert Einstein

"I speak to everyone in the same way, whether he is the garbage man or the president of the university."

  1. I think a lot of people believe that they do this when in reality they really don't. Do you think that, if someone asked the garbage man how Einstein treated him, he probably wouldn't say, "The same as he treats the university professor." Perception is an interesting thing...

  2. To me this quote makes the feeling that everyone is equal. Even if you aren't in the best situation in life or if you're having the best time of your life. Everyone is human and that makes everyone equal.

    1. Do you think the idea that everyone is equal is universal, or is it more an American thing? If you went to other countries, do you think they'd have the same mindset?

    2. I think it's not just an American thing because I've seen Americans not treating other groups of people equal.

    3. Me, too...it's very sad! What's even sadder, though, is that other countries are even worse. There are some places where women can't walk outside without having their faces covered or where people are killed because of their skin color or religion.

    4. That is true countries like Iraq and afaganastan.

  3. This is not. A quote of respect, or a quote of equality, it's but a quote of consistency
